We’re back in Adelaide again after a couple of days up on Yorke Penninsula in the small town Wallaroo. Wallaroo is located around 160 km north-northwest of Adelaide and it’s one of three Copper Triangle towns known for their historic copper mining industry. We rented a shack that was located in the marina, right by the water. Simon’s parents, sister and her boyfriend came with us and we had a couple of nice days relaxing and fishing.

Early morning squidding on the jetty

Squid jigs

Everyone except me managed to catch a squid or two but they refused to bite on my jig.

But I looked this good trying ;)

I had better luck we we went raking crabs. We caught this big Blue Swimmer Crab (and 62 of his buddies)

It took a while to cook them all.

Lots of yummy crabs!
