It’s not a secret that I’m a big chocolate lover. My absolute favourite is Swedish Marabou Daim chocolate (it’s also Simon’s favourite…I’ve dragged him down into the deep chocolate swamp). It’s one of the things that i absolutely HAD to go to IKEA in Melbourne to buy when I lived there last year. ūüôā

Daim is actually a crunchy butter almond bar covered in milk chocolate manufactured by Marabou since 1953 and since a couple of years ago they’ve also mixed crushed daim into their big milk chocolate bars. There a heaps of different flavours in the standard range besides the daim version, everything from dark chocolate, hazel nut, orange crisp, plain milk chocolate to raisins & almonds. Which one is your favourite?

Every year Marabou release one or a couple of limited edition flavours. I read in a blog this week that Marabou Vintervit (Winter white) will be released in just a couple of weeks. It’s Marabou’s first white chocolate bar ever so that will be interesting to try even though I’m not equally as fond of white chocolate.
