Third time’s a charm

2 Comments Driving license (Sweden), Move to Sweden

Simon passed his written drivers test today. It was really the second time he wrote it since the first time, when they made him write the test in Swedish, doesn’t count. But there is no good saying like “Third time’s the charm” about the second time, at least not that I know of.  🙂

Anyway, this means that Simon now has his Swedish drivers license and I just want the whole world to know this. After all the bumps on the road to get there it’s just good to know that he can tick one big thing of his “To do list” and drive on the roads without having to worry about not having a valid license if he gets pulled over. I’ll return with a post about how much the license ended up costing later on but now I just want to send off a big

Major major congrats to Simon. That's huge. I was more worried about getting my Swedish driving licence than anything else. Other things can wait or be worked around, but not being able to drive is a major disability. So this is big. Congrats on being one step closer to Swedish.
