Weekends are a bit like rainbows; they look good from a distance but disappear when you get up close to them.
It’s a strange phenomena that, how time seems to go a lot faster during the weekend compared to the weekdays. We had a very relaxing weekend and to be honest a bit boring. It’s frustrating living in a small town where there is so little to do. I guess it has a lot to do with the fact that most of our friends are elsewhere than Jönköping. The weather does nothing to make things better either, though to be fair the sun was out yesterday and it was a lovely day. At least Pollux got long walks both on Saturday and Sunday, it’s good to be able to go outside when it’s daylight. And we did finish off the weekend with a ten pin bowling session with a couple of friends, apparently going bowling on a Sunday night is a popular activity, the bowling arena was packed! Simon beat the crap out of everyone and I had a really lousy couple of games fighting about the last place. But as Simon said “It’s not all about winning” (easy for him to say – he won!).
Today it was back to reality again and now I’m looking forward to having Erica and Emilia over for a fika this arvo. Take care!
