My new passion

2 Comments Recipes

Just discovered how delicious it is to drink ice tea on a hot summer day. Didn’t use to like it but tried it again a couple of weeks ago to see if I changed my mind and I love it! Tried to make my own this weekend, it was super simple and tasted great.

You can make either with tea bags or with loose bulk tea. Here is the recipe I used:

  • 5 tbs of loose bulk tea or 3-4 teabags (I prefer a fresh tea and choose one with peach and mango flavour)
  • 1 liter boiling water
  • 0.5 dl powdered sugar
  • juice from 1 lemon
  1. Let the tea sit for a maximum of 5 minutes. Remove the tea, don’t squeeze out the last of the water it can give a bitter taste.
  2. Add the sugar and let cool down in room temperature.
  3. Add lemon juice and either serve directly or let it cool in the fridge, I prefer it to be real cool.
  4. Serve with lots of ice.
